The first home was built in 1987 by Henderson Homes and the neighborhood of 281 single family homes was completed in 1991. The square footage of homes range between 1750 to 2800, with the average size home being 2300 square feet. As of the this writing recently sold home range in the mid $300’s.
Homes are beautiful yet modest. Lot sizes are especially generous for a neighborhood community and many of the backyard settings allow your eyes to rest on the beauty of Cougar and Squak Mountain in the distance. The pride of ownership is evident in the community and with the winding streets and community sidewalks, the neighborhood practically begs you to go for a nightly walk.

Each homeowner is automatically a voting member of the Summerwind Homeowners Association. The community hosts an annual garage sale and even has its own Fanpage on Facebook. The Association owns common property, including 3 parks, play areas, and a sport-court.
